Upper World

Upper World

The Upper World, in contrast to the underworld referring to the land of the dead, refers to the world where we live. If the underworld is full of sadness and darkness then our upper world is a place of joy and light. In the Greek religion, the Upper world is ruled by Zeus, the king of the gods.
