Alexander Aubert

Alexander Aubert

Alexander Aubert, born 11 May 1730 in Austin Friars, London and died 19 October 1805. He was educated in Cheam Academy, Surrey and in Geneva. He was an eminent merchant in the City of London and became governor of the London Assurance Company in 1753. He lived in Highbury House and as a past-time was involved in astronomy.
