Haase's highest ranking in the ATP singles entry rankings is 56. Haase was a promising junior where he reached as high as 3rd in the juniors’ rankings on
14 March ,2005 . Later on in 2005 he would lose the final of the junior tournament at Wimbledon toJeremy Chardy which was his last tournament on junior level.In July 2007 Haase reached his 1st ATP Tour semi-final at the Dutch Open in
Amersfoort where in the quarter-finals he beat the top 100 ranked playerFlorent Serra . He eventually lost in straight sets, 6–4 6–4 toWerner Eschauer .
