Telaprolu

Telaprolu is a village in Unguturu mandal, Krishna District, Andra Pradesh state in India.

Rangamma Perantalu Temple in this village (Just beside uoora cheruvu), is one of the famous temples, having nearly 150 years of history.

Every year the festival of the goddess Rangamma Perantalu is celebrated with lots of devotion. People come from far places to offer the goddess all the owes. People believe she is most powerful goddess and the festival called as "Tirunalla" is celebrating the people one week every year in telaprolu village

The festival is performed in Falguna masam. On Pornami day, which comes next to the sriramanavami.This tirunalla is a well example for unity in diversity of all casts in the village. The temple is under the maintenance of the Legal heirs of the Goddess. Farmers bring their cattle to the temple and take the blessings of the Goddess.
