Abhishek Manu Singhvi

Abhishek Singhvi a politician from Indian National Congress party is presently a Member of the Parliament of India representing Rajasthan in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.

He is a son of renowned lawyer and India's former High Commissioner to the UK, and potential Indian Presidential candidate; L.M.Singhvi whose political pedigree lied with Bharatiya Janata Party unlike his son, who opted to join Indian National Congress.

Dr. Singhvi was educated at St. Columba's School, Delhi, St. Stephen's College, Delhi University, Trinity College, University of Cambridge, U.K. and Havard University, U.S.A. He was a topper all throughout his educational days. Dr. Singhvi completed his Phd. under the guidance of the legendary Sir William Wade from the Cambridge University.

Dr. Singhvi is one of the leading lawyers in India. He was one of the youngest designated Senior Advocates in the Supreme Court of India. A former Additional Solicitor General of India, Dr. Singhvi has the distinction of appearing in some of the most high profile matters in the recent history.
