"Afrixalus fornasini" is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family.It is found in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and possibly Swaziland.Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical dry forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, temperate shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, water storage areas, and ponds.It is threatened by habitat loss.
