"Isthmohyla rivularis" is a rare species of frog in the Hylidae family.It is found in Costa Rica and Panama.Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and rivers.It is threatened by habitat loss. The species was thought to have become extinct in the late 1980s. In 2007, it was re-discovered in the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Costa Rica, and a female was spotted in 2008.
