Joe Vitale is purported to be a certified metaphysical practitioner [ Metaphysical Practitioner Education Programs [http://www.cms.edu/ed.html The College of Metaphysical Studies] ] , a certified Chi Kung healer, an ordained minister, a certified hypnotherapist and an author (this last one is for sure, judging by the number of books in his name listed at such sites as Amazon and Barnes & Noble). He appeared in the much acclaimed movie "The Secret (2006 film)", on CNN's "Larry King Live" program and "Extra TV." He was also featured in a "Newsweek" interview on "The Secret", and "The New York Post" wrote an article for one of his P.T. Barnum-esque publicity stunts: "The Canine Concert."
