Description
The animal is large, thick and oval, the sides of the foot crowded with large soft
tubercle s. The coloration of the tubercles is lavender-grey, brown in the interstices, thegill s are buff, and the sole of the foot is yellowish-buff.The shell is relatively large, broadly oval, solid, almost flat, white and calcareous, covered by a yellowish
periostracum . The shell length is up to 88 mm, and width up to 70 mm.External links
