Karen J. Warren (born
1947 ) is an author, scholar and Professor of Philosophy atMacalester College . She has written extensively in the fields ofcritical thinking ,environmental ethics andecofeminism . She has written more than 40 articles and edited or co-edited five anthologies, authored "Ecofeminist Philosophy: A Western Perspective on What It Is and Why It Matters" (2000) and is close to completing a ground-breaking anthology, "Gendering Western Philosophy: Pairs of Men and Women Philosophers From 5th Century B.C.E. to the Present" (forthcoming 2004). Warren's scholarly projects explore the connections between the subordination of women and others, and the subordination of the environment.=External Links=
