Khalid AlQassimi ( _ar. خالد القاسمي) (born February 18, 1976) is a rally driver from Abu Dhabi. He won the FIA's Middle East Rally Championship in 2004. At the half way stage of the 2007 World Rally Championship a joint venture between the BP Ford World Rally Team and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Board was announced to bring a third official Focus WRC to the team's World Rally Championship campaign. Codriven by Nicky Beech, Khalid AlQassimi contested Neste Oil Rally Finland, ADAC Rallye Deutschland, Rally RACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada and Rally Ireland. On his debut in Rally Finland, AlQassimi drove consistently to finish in 16th place overall. For the 2008 World Rally Championship, al-Qassimi will remain with BP Ford Abu Dhabi WRT, contesting 10 events, codriven by Michael Orr.
