"Sowing the Seeds of Love" is a 1989 hit song by popular British group Tears for Fears. The song reached #2 in the US singles chart and #5 in the UK singles chart, as well as reaching #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks list in the US. It was the first and biggest hit from their 1989 album "The Seeds of Love", also reaching the Top 5 in Ireland, Italy, and the Netherlands. The song is notable for being an intentional pastiche of The Beatles.
