John Nobile

John Nobile

John Nobile was a Bonanno crime family mobster who was employed as general foreman at "The New York Post" from 1990 to 1992. He served under Bonanno crime family capo James Galante. He is the son of Genovese crime family sidewalk soldier George (Georgie Hook) Nobile who was a recognized member of the crime family in 1959 and convicted of drug trafficking by mob turncoat Joe Valachi. The three-year probe into the racketeering activities at "The New York Post" and the "New York Daily News" resulted in a score of convictions that included James Galante, Leo D'Angelo, Armond DiConstanzo and Albert Embarrato. The Superintendent of Deliveries for the "New York Post" who overlooked the racketeering operations at the "New York Daily News" and "The Wall Street Journal", Robert Perrino, considered the front-man and leader of the so-called Post Circulation Crew disappeared shortly after the indictments were handed down.
