WCCW Cotton Bowl Extravaganza

The WCCW Cotton Bowl Extravaganza was an annual professional wrestling supercard promoted by Fritz Von Erich's World Class Championship Wrestling / World Class Wrestling Association. It was held in October every year from 1984 through 1988. **Rogers pinned Diablo.
*Mike Von Erich and Stella Mae French defeated Gino Hernandez and Andrea the Lady Giant in a mixed tag team match
**French pinned Andrea.
*Kevin Von Erich defeated Chris Adams
**Kevin pinned Adams, amid controversy when Adams twice had his shoulder up, while referee David Manning administered the three count. After the match, Adams smashed a wooden chair over Von Erich's head, resulting in a concussion and loss of blood when the chair broken in half, scraping his head.
*The Dynamic Duo (Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez) and Jake Roberts defeated Bobby Fulton small|(subbing for Kevin Von Erich), Kerry Von Erich and Mike Von Erich to win the NWA Six-Man Tag Team Championship "(Texas version)"
**Roberts pinned Kerry, who was superkicked by Adams while referee Bronco Lubich was distracted.

**Gang was counted out in round three.
*WCCW American Tag Team Champions Kerry and Kevin Von Erich defeated The Dynamic Duo (WCCW Texas Brass Knuckles Champion Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez) in a Hair vs. Hair match
**Kerry pinned Adams. After the match, Adams and Hernandez were shaved bald. Gino attempted to escape during the hair-cutting, but was tackled by Chris Von Erich at ringside. "Cousin" Lance Von Erich made his World Class debut in this match.

*WCWA Heavyweight Champion Kerry Von Erich defeated AWA World Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lawler in a Texas Death match to win the AWA title and retain the WCWA title
**Although Kerry won the AWA title in this match, the title was returned to Lawler afterwards. The title change was not recognized by the AWA.
