José Moratón Taeño, Moratón (born 14 July 1979 in Santander, Cantabria), is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Racing de Santander of the Spanish "La Liga". His usual position is central defender.

Since debuting as a professional for hometown Real Racing Club de Santander on December 13, 1998 (Racing 0 - CD Tenerife 0), Moratón would play for the Cantabria outfit his entire career.

Already established as one of the team's captains, he suffered a severe injury which made him miss most of 2006-07, but featured in 18 contests the following season, as Racing achieved a first-ever UEFA Cup qualification.
