Stone began his career as a stand-up comedian in
1991 , after being persuaded to get on stage by his girlfriend. He first performed at theEdinburgh Festival in1996 , in a tour controversially called, "A Little Piece of ". The organisers forced Stone to asterix the word, "Kike," as it is considered racist. Stone commented about the term at the time saying, "I saw a description of it. ‘It said low-class, ill-mannered Jew,’ and I thought, ‘That's me!’"Stone later appeared on several television shows, including "
