Bojana Novakovic (born c.1981) is an AFI Award-winning, Serbian-born Australian actress.

Novakovic moved from Serbia with her parents to Australia when she was seven-years-old. She speaks fluent Serbian, and because of this, she works as a professional translator for theatre and film in between acting commitments.

Her love for acting started at age twelve, when she appeared in her first play. At age fifteen, she was cast in her first film.

Her film credits include "Blackrock", "Strange Fits of Passion", "Solo", "The Monkey's Mask", "Thunderstruck" and the Serbian language film "Optimisti". Some of her many theatre credits are "Criminology", "Eldorado", "The Female of The Species", "Death Variations", "Loveplay", "Away" and "Romeo and Juliet", and her television credits include "Satisfaction", "The Cooks", "Wildside", "Water Rats", "Heartbreak High" and "Murder Call". In 2003 Novakovic played Randa in the ABC mini-series "Marking Time", a role which won her an AFI Award for Best Actress in a leading role in a Television Drama or Comedy.

Novakovic studied at The McDonald College in Sydney (where she was Dux of 1998) [http://www.mcdonald.nsw.edu.au/mcd/newsfolder/bojana-novakovic-dux-of-1998.html] , and graduated from NIDA in 2002. She was also a gymnast, and works extensively with refugees in Australia.
