Simone Grippo (born 12 December 1988) is an Italian-Swiss footballer who currently plays for A.C. ChievoVerona in the Italian Serie 'A'.

Football career

He came through the youth system at FC Basel and was sent out on a season-long loan at FC Concordia Basel during the 2007/08 season. He originally had a half season-long loan spell at FC Concordia Basel from FC Basel, however this loan was extended in December into a full season loan.

In Summer 2008 he joined AC Bellinzona on loan, but on 5 August joined A.C. ChievoVerona of Italian Serie A on a permanent contract.
