bonuses = The Prix de Lutèce is a Group 3 flat horse race in France open to three-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 3,000 metres (approximately 1⅞ miles) at Longchamp Racecourse, and it takes place annually, presently in early September.

It is named after Lutetia (French name "Lutèce"), a Gallo-Roman city which was located on the site of what is now Paris. The earliest race to bear this title was created in 1864. This event took place annually during the springtime at Longchamp and continued to be run until 1968. The conditions of the race varied, but in its later years it was contested over a distance of 2,400 metres by horses aged three-years-old or above. Winners included Coast Guard (1951), Vamos (1954), Elpenor (1956), Snob (1962) and Bon Mot (1967).

The present version of the Prix de Lutèce was first run in 1978. It is a long distance event restricted to three-year-olds, and it serves as a trial for the Group 1 Prix Royal-Oak. The only horse to win both races is Agent Double in 1984.

Since its relaunch in 1978 the race's distance and venue have remained unchanged. It usually takes place in September, but from 1988 to 1998 it was part of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe fixture on the weekend of the first Sunday in October.
