Ellie Esterlake in "Speedway"Award-winning producer and former child star Victoria Paige Meyerink has spent nearly all of her life in show business, bringing a high degree of proficiency and professionalism to each aspect of her multi-faceted career. She has the distinction of being the youngest woman film producer in the motion picture industry with the international success Young Warriors at age 22.
Victoria’s latest feature, Finding Home, is currently in release and has earned her the Excellence in Producing Award at the Montreal World Film Festival as well as 21 other honors, including 5 Best Picture awards. This touching character drama spanning five decades deals with the struggles and triumphs of three generations of Maine coast women. Filmed in widescreen 35mm on a variety of spectacular island locations throughout coastal Maine, the film stars Oscar nominee Geneviève Bujold, Oscar winner Louise Fletcher, Jason Miller (The Exorcist), and Justin Henry (Oscar and Golden Globe nominee for Kramer vs. Kramer). Of Finding Home, CBS says “éééé One of the best films of the year. A compelling human drama, simultaneously dark and luminous. In every way, a beautifully rendered work.” Rex Reed of The New York Observer states, “It is so rare to see this much wisdom and care go into every aspect of a single film, behind and in front of the camera.”
Victoria’s acting career soared at the age of four when she became Danny Kaye’s co-star on his popular CBS variety series, establishing her as an international figure. She went on to co-star with Elvis Presley and Nancy Sinatra in MGM's "Speedway" as well as "Brainstorm" with Anne Francis, "Seconds" with Rock Hudson, and "Night of the Grizzly" with Clint Walker and Martha Hyer. On television she was a regular on the popular series "Green Acres", "My Three Sons", "Family Affair" and more. Victoria recently received the Young Artist Awards 2006 Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award.
Victoria’s producing credits include the high-powered vigilante drama Young Warriors, Night Force and the comedic festival favorite Prima Donnas. Victoria is a member in the Producers Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and serves on the Academy Awards Executive Committee. Victoria is the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of the new Independence Film Fest of Colorado, Sept. 6-9. She is a faculty member and Film Program Advisor for the International Film & Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine where she has taught film production, marketing and distribution since 1991.
