John Turtle

John Turtle

John Ross Turtle (born January 13, 1937) is an Australian medical academic and endocrinologist. He is an Emeritous Professor of Medicine and an Honorary President of the International Diabetes Federation.

Early life

Turtle was born in Sydney, Australia, and attended Newington College (1947-1953), commencing as a preparatory school student in Wyvern House. [Newington College Register of Past Students 1863-1998 (Syd, 1999) pp 202 ] He graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney.
