Iván Hernández Soto aka Iván Hernández (born 22 February 1980 in Madrid, Community of Madrid) is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Sporting de Gijón of the Spanish La Liga. His usual demarcation is defender.

During the 2007-2008 season, Ivan played an important role in Sporting because he could play easily both as Defender or Defensive Midfielder. This season Sporting was promoted to La Liga.
