(1987)"Love Removal Machine" is a song recorded by The Cult. It was the first single to be released from the group's 1987 album "Electric". Originally from the Manor Sessions (Peace Album), but was re-recorded, under the newly hired producer Rick Rubin, changing the song from Goth Rock into a more Hard Rock song. At first was simply called "Love Removal".There are several different mixes of the song:
* Love Removal (Radio Session) - The very first version. Musically very different from all the others.
* Love Removal Machine (Peace Mix) - Manor Sessions version, available on The Best of Rare Cult and Rare Cult box set.
* Love Removal Machine - The Electric album version and the one released as a single.
* Love Removal Machine (Extended Rock Mix) - The Extended Version and B side some releases of the single.
* Love Removal Machine (Small Soldiers [Or "Mike Pertalia" Remix) - Remixed version from the OST of the film Small Soldiers.
