Joaquín Enrique Valerio Olivera, Valerio (born 12 January 1973 in Badalona, Catalonia), is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Polideportivo Ejido of "Segunda División B", as a goalkeeper.

During his career, Valerio played for Real Madrid Castilla, Hércules CF (with whom he won the second level in 1995-96), Albacete Balompié, Real Betis Balompié, Elche CF (two stints), CD Tenerife, UD Almería and Polideportivo Ejido.

From 1997-2001, he represented Betis, playing 12 "La Liga" matches (his first being on November 1, 1997, subbing in for Toni Prats who had been sent off in the 20', in a 2-3 home loss to Atlético de Madrid). 2000-01 was spent in "Segunda División", as both Betis and Sevilla FC returned to the top flight.

In 2006-07, Valerio appeared in 4 matches for Almería backing up first-choice Sander Westerveld, as the Andalusia outfit achieved a first-ever top flight promotion.
