"Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces" is third major studio album by South African rock band Seether. It was released in South Africa on October 19, 2007, and released worldwide on October 23, 2007.

For support of the album, the band is releasing singles and is on tour with Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and 3 Doors Down.

Three singles, "Fake It", "Rise Above This", and "Breakdown" have been released from Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces with the former 2 charting well.

The band updated both their official web page and MySpace on August 23rd with the new single Fake It being uploaded to both, the band had this to say on their official webpage:

In the corner where it shows the album title, one can faintly see a Chinese symbol. The symbol shown is the Chinese symbol for the word beauty.

Commercial performance

The album debuted at #9 with 57,000 copies in its first week. As of May 17, 2008 it has sold 1,000,000 albums worldwide, with 559,608 copies in the United States due to being able to hold on by both hit singles "Fake It" and "Rise Above This". It has now gone gold in the USA (source: Billboard website). Seether claimed their first South African Music Award in the category "Best Rock: English" for Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces.
