Lendava was a district ( _hu. járás) of Zala in theKingdom of Hungary until 1918. It was annexed toHungary again from1941 to1945 .The town is the center of the Hungarian minority in Slovenia. It is also famous for the monumental theater and Hungarian Community Center, designed by the famous architect
