"Tornatellides subperforata", is a species of minute, air-breathing land snails, terrestrial gastropod mollusks, or micromollusks, in the family Achatinellidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand; it is found in the Northland Region of the North Island.

Habitat

This minute snail has an arboreal existence on the leaves of "kohekohe" and "nikau" palms.

hell description

The shell is small, elevated-conic, thin, shining and corneous. The spire is high, but less so than in "Tornatellinops novoseelandica". The columella is reflexed above, partly concealing a narrow perforation. There is a parietal wall plait. The shell height is up to 3.5 mm, and the width is up to 2.2 mm.
