"In Search Of" is an upcoming drama film written and directed by Zeke Zelker by the production company Independent Dream Machine. Shot in Allentown, Pennsylvania, over the course of a year, on 35mm and S16mm film. The production used various cameras including a hand-cranked camera, achieving all optical effects during production. The film is currently in post production.

Synopsis

When was the last time you had sex? Was it safe? "In Search Of" explores the lives of teninterweaving characters who use sex as a vehicle to gain something out of life without thinkingof the consequences or repercussions of their actions. Thought-provoking and inspiring, "In Search Of" comments on the sexual tendencies of today's impulsive society.

Among the ensemble cast of characters is Dave (Jack Barley), rugged and enterprising, is in a lovinggenuine relationship with Mindy(Emily Grace), a down-to-earth, privileged, woman's clinic employee. Theirrelationship tapers as Dave takes on an unconventional occupation, allowing his ego to get thebest of him, and resulting in heartbreaking consequences.

Lauren(Tracy Toth), late in the game, finds her soul mate. The only downside being she is the motherof three children, and the wife of her loving and devoted husband, Peter(Philip Raymond), an upstanding citizenand family man. Peter experiences a sudden twist of fate when Lauren breaks the news that sheis pregnant with a fourth child. Peter's reputation and medical practice are on the line as he findshimself tangled in a web of moral struggle.

Jack(Michael Rady), a commodities broker, has no shame flaunting his wealth through his materialpossessions, always sporting the best of everything, as he manipulates those around him tostrengthen his personal conquests and business stature. His wealth compensates for his lack ofcompassion for Cathy(Jamie Lea Thompson) a bubbly and hip teen looking for a way out of her permanent lower-classresidence, as well as Shea(Rachael Kemery) a struggling artist, and Beth Ann(Laura L. Cottrel), a burned out stripper in search of anew life and a family.

Lastly there is Andy(Keith Nobbs), a young impressionable high school football player who succumbsto the pressure of his fellow teammates and makes a regrettable decision that teaches him a lifelesson.

Under the scribe and direction Zeke Zelker, In Search Of offers an intimate glance into the lives of ordinary people, a deeperlook into the startling yet fascinating world of our neighbors, friends, and family.What are you in search of?
