Tommy Doyle was an Irish sportman who played Gaelic football with the local Annascaul club and the Kerry senior team in the 1970s and 1980s.

Doyle was a member of one of the most successful teams ever to play football. He won 7 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals and was Kerry captain in 1986. He received 2 GAA All Stars Awards, in 1985 and 1986. [ [http://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/championship/footballallstars.html RTÉ Sport GAA Championship: Football All Stars ] ]

Doyle was an army private at one time, and so had the nickname "Private". He now works as a sales representative.
