The band "Hamechashefot" Performed in Israel in the early nineties, and first gained notoriety through a television program called "Songs of the Kinneret": They performed an old song of
Naomi Shemer named "Magic on the Kinneret" in a sensual metal style. Shemer was delighted, exclaiming: "Shall a Negro turn his skin inside out? He certainly shall!"
