Quartermaine family

The Quartermaine family is a very wealthy and prestigious fictional family on the ABC soap opera, "General Hospital". The Quartermaines have been a staple on "General Hospital" since their introduction in the late 1970s.

First generation

* George Quartermaine is the father of Edward Quartermaine.
* Ida Zemlock Quartermaine is the mother of Edward Quartermaine.
* Unknown Brother of George is the Uncle of Edward Quartermaine.

econd generation

* Edward Quartermaine is the shrewd patriarch of the Quartermaine family, though he does have a soft spot for wife, Lila Morgan Quartermaine (now deceased) and granddaughter, Emily Quartermaine (also deceased). He is the founder of the family company, ELQ . He is the father of Alan and Tracy (with Lila), Bradley with (Mary-Mae Ward), and Jimmy Lee Holt (with Beatrice LeSeur). After Lila's death, Edward was briefly married to Heather Webber.
* Herbert Quartermaine (deceased) is the brother of Edward Quartermaine
* Lila Morgan Quartermaine (deceased) was the beloved matriarch of the Quartermaine family. She was the wife of Edward Quartermaine, and mother to Alan and Tracy. She was often noted to be the moral compass of the family. Lila passed away peacefully in her sleep in 2004.

Third generation

* Alan Quartermaine (deceased) was the eldest son of Edward and Lila Quartermaine. Though, Alan was groomed to take over ELQ, he pursued his passion to be a doctor, despite the constant disapproval from Edward. Alan married fellow doctor Monica Bard, despite the fact that she was in love with Rick Webber at the time. He is the father of A.J. (with Monica), Jason (with Susan Moore, though adopted by Monica), Skye (adoptive daughter), and Emily (adoptive daughter with Monica). Dr. Alan died in February 2007 but continues to haunt Tracy Quartermaine since she and her husband Luke Spencer doctored his will, leaving her with his ELQ Shares.

* Tracy Spencer is the only daughter of Edward and Lila Quartermaine. Tracy schemed and plotted for the attention of her father and for the control of ELQ. One of the most infamous moments in General Hospital history was when Tracy refused to give Edward his medication until he agreed not to disinherit her. It turned out to be a set-up by Edward to test her loyalty. Tracy is the mother of Ned (with Larry Ashton) and Dillon (with Paul Hornsby). She is currently being stalked by "Ghost Alan" since she changed Dr. Alan's will, removing all of Jason's birthrights. She is married to Luke Spencer.

* Bradley Ward II (deceased) is the love child of Edward Quartermaine and Mary Mae Ward and the father of Justus Ward.

* Jimmy Lee Holt (product of an affair between Edward Quartermaine and Beatrice LeSeur. Was married to Quartermaine cousin, Celia Quartermaine.

* Monica Quartermaine is the widow of Alan Quartermaine and the mother of A.J. (with Alan) and two adopted children (also with Alan), Jason and Emily. Monica is also a cardiologist at General Hospital.

* Luke Spencer is the husband of Tracy Quartermaine, who married her to get money she had swindled from him.
