James "Jim" Moffat (born January 27 1960 in Dunfermline, Scotland) is a Scottish former footballer and manager, currently without a club after being sacked by Forfar.

Career

Playing career

He played in goal for several Scottish lower league clubs.

Coaching career

Moffat has previously been manager at East Fife and assistant manager at Stirling Albion.

He was appointed manager of Forfar in March 2007 and was sacked thirteen months later after the Scottish Third Division side finished one point above last place.
