Perambra is a small town in
Thrissur district ofKerala state in south India. It is located on National Highway (NH 47) 23 km south of Thrissur city and about 7 km north ofChalakudy .Administratively, Perambra comes under
Kodakara panchayat andMukundapuram taluk. The famous tyre manufacturing company,Apollo Tyres Ltd is located in Perambra.The closest railway stations are Chalakudy and Irinjalakuda both located 7 km from the town.
St.Antony's Church is one of the pilgrim centre in Perambra. It is the oldest church in Kodakara. It was established as a
chapel in the name ofSt. Anthony of Padua in the year of 1830.
