- Jehangir Baronets
The Jehangir Baronetcy, of Bombay, is a title in the
Baronetage of the United Kingdom . It was created on16 July 1908 for Cowasjee Jehanghir, an influential member of theParsee community inBombay . He was the nephew and adopted son and heir of theParsee community leader, philanthropist and industrialistCowasji Jehangir Readymoney . By Special Act of the Legislative Council of India in 1911, it was decided that all future holders were to assume the name of the first Baronet on succeeding.
