- José María Soler García
José María Soler García was a Spanish archaeologist, chronicler and archivist. He was born in
Villena the year 1905 and he died there in 1996, after a long life dedicated to thehistory ,archaeology ,folklore ,music ,literature of his city and near area.He was director of the Archaeological Museum 'José María Soler', and also he found the
Treasure of Villena , the second golden tableware finding of Europe in importance, after that ofMycenae ,Greece .Moreover, he wrote some books and has been awarded with
