Baggrow railway station

Baggrow railway station closed 22 September 1930. It was a stop on the Bolton Loop of the Maryport and Carlisle Railway.

Although the station itself has since been demolished the station manager's house is still in use.

The station served the pit at Brayton Knowle Colliery [ [http://www.dmm.org.uk/colliery/b082.htm Durham Mining Museum - Brayton Knowle Colliery ] ] .
