Lt Col Jaswant Singh Marwah (born January 21, 1921) is an Indian journalist and writer, and the father of General Joginder Jaswant Singh, the first Sikh Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army. He was himself a former Special Duty Officer in the Archaeological Survey of India, and has served in the Indian Army's Electrical Mechanical Engineering branch from 1943 to 1973. He is also a veteran of the Second World War. He was awarded the Nehru Award both in 1981 and 1984, by the Vice President of India and the President of India respectively. He was later in 1987 awarded the Journalism Award by the Ministry of Communications,Government of India.

Lt Col Jaswant Singh Marwah has written and published eight books, with two new manuscripts under print. All his published books have been sent to over 100 universities in India, and other establishments by the Government of India, Punjabi Academy and Hindi Academy, New Delhi.
