Aquarium Restaurants are a themed restaurant chain owned by Landry's Restaurants, Inc. of Houston, Texas. It was founded and created by entrepreneur Steven Schussler.

Description

The restaurant is decorated to resemble some features of an ocean. A large marine aquarium is prominently featured at the center of the restaurants. The tank is typically 30 feet by 20 feet or larger. Sharks, sting rays, eels, and dozens of exotic fish are featured. Several times during the day, scuba divers enter the tank and feed the sea creatures. Smaller tanks are usually located near the entrance to the restaurant. The restaurants also have a retail store within the restaurant where aquarium themed merchandise is sold. In Nashville and Kemah, they also have a Sting ray Reef where people can feed the sting rays.

The Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville, TN has a 200,000 gallon size tank, it has 3 species of Shark; Black Tip, White Tip & Grey Nurse
