"Shenanigans" was a kids' television game show that aired on ABC from 1964-1965. The show was a kids version of the adult game show, "Video Village". It is critically considered a "show well ahead of its time." Many concepts of the show have been aired on Nickelodeon. The show started off as a local New York show, but it was picked up as a Saturday morning kids show. Milton Bradley served as the sponsor. Stubby Kaye was the host (Mayor of Shenanigans) while Kenny Williams served as the announcer and the cop, which he also did on Video Village. The show was a favorite among the young population, not exactly for the fun, but for the questions they could actually answer.

Main Game

Just like in "Video Village", kids would stand on a giant game board. When they would advance the spaces the dice said to go, they would have to answer the question or perform a stunt. The cop was just an obstacle that the kids had to get through, like any other board game (like the "Go to Jail" in Monopoly). Prizes were suspended from the ceiling, as a little teaser for the kids that they hope to win.
