Sura t Al-Jumʿua ( _ar. سورة الجمعة) (The Friday Congregation) is the 62nd sura of theQur'an with 11ayat .Al-Jumu'a is the name of a short chapter (Arabic: "
Surah ") of theQur'an , eleven verses long. The first verse stats that everything "declares the glory" of God, the second verse stats that God gave "to the pagan folk (Arabs) an Apostle from among themselves" [John Medows Rodwell Qur'an translation ] , in order to teach them Islam, third verse says that is he also send to other people how have not joined yet. The fifth verse compares Jews to asses carrying books, the sixth tells Jews to long for death, the eighth that death from which ye shrink will really meet you. The chapter then ends stating that Fridays should be spent in remembrance of God, rather than enjoying "merchandise or sport". [ Quran-usc|62|1]References
