The Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational is a golf tournament on the Nationwide Tour. It was played for the first time in July 2007 at The Ohio State University Golf Club's Scarlet Course in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Jack Nicklaus, a former Ohio State golfer and Upper Arlington native, serves as honorary host of the event. The event is unique in that it invites the top collegiate golfers to compete.[1] Amateurs have won two of the five events.
The 2011 purse was $800,000, with a $144,000 winner's share. In 2011, amateur Harris English won the event; the first place money went to Kyle Reifers.
