Zhang Xiguo (Chinese: 張系國; Pinyin: Zhāng Xīgūo), known in English as Shi-kuo Chang, is an internationally renowned computer scientist and writer famous for his
sci-fi writing. Zhang was born inChongqing in 1944 and grew up in Taiwan. After graduating fromNational Taiwan University , he first came to the United States in 1966 as a student at University of California, Berkeley, inComputer Science .
