May this fish leaves theBaltic Sea and enters into theNemunas River to lay theireggs . The eggs are laid in shallow waters, which are usually in semi-fast moving parts of smaller rivers connected to theNemunas . "Ziobris" inLithuania is a very important fish and 30% of the Zarte caught are in theNemunas river. Every year there is afestival along the shore of theNemunas to commemerate thisfish .ource
