Sydney (Australia) Reggae Band, popular in the 1980s. The original members were Cappy Cowen(drums), Norman Jacobs(bass), Joel Knight(keyboards)and Howard Schulz(guitar).
They started practicing at Maroubra Beach in the summer of 1981 playing covers and original songs written by Joel Knight, who was a prolific song writer. They filled rooms like Maroubra Bay Hotel, Paradise Room(Kings Cross), Untaboo Night Club and Maroubra Junction Hotel through the early eighties. The group built their own studio at Bondi Junction in 1982 and with producer Kenny Williams the guys recorded several albulms that were never released. They were winners of the 1985 Star Search. At one point their lead singer was Roni St Clair Jemmott. Supported UB40 in the 1980s. While primarily Reggae, they also had Latin, Caribbean and world music influences.
