Occasionally referred to on scoresheets by his nickname Sumon, he has appeared forDhaka Division between 2000/01 and 2006/07. He also played for Bangladesh A in 2003/04 and for the Bangladesh Cricket Board President's XI in 2000/01.He scored 2 first class centuries in that time, with a best of 126 against
