TeamStrut

Teamstrut is a creative bureau in Athens, Greece, owned and directed by Thodoris Colovos [1978] , specializing on art and commerce productions and applications. Their mostly known work is "Mother", an art and fashion magazine, now considered the country's most expensive periodical publication. The company has designed the advertising campaign and communication strategy for acclaimed shows "2" by Dimitris Papaioannou, and "Ola apo tin Arhi" with George Dalaras at Pallas theatre. In collaboration with Mont Blanc, TeamStrut organized and curated "666", an art show and party hybrid in Gazi, Athens, featuring artists Antonakis Christodoulou [29-1-1978] , Zoe Zillion [1981] , Dimitris Papadatos [New York 5-9-1981] , Taxiarchos Gotsis. They revived 90's hot spot Booze bar with their "Let's Dance! Fight! Party!" parties. TeamStrut's participation on the first Design Walk in Athens created a stir, with more than 2,000 visitors at the venue and big press coverage from all Sunday and free press newspapers. For the Design walk show, they collaborated with artists Roberta Nitsos, Dimitris Karantinopoulos [1981] , Thodoris Dimitropoulos and fashion collective Manufaktura. Other activities include participation in European fairs and festivals (Arnhem Fashion Biennial, ATH-LDN festival), and consulting collaborations with international fashion brands (Dior, Puma, Fred Perry, Free Shop). TeamStrut's signature deconstructive black and white aesthetics formed a new visual communication code and influenced a new breed of designers in Athens.
