The Sikkim Rat ("Rattus andamanensis") is a species of rodent in the Muridae family.

It is found in Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Young are called, "kittens", "nestlings", "pinkie" or "pups". Females are called, "does". Males are called "bucks". A group of rats is called a "colony", "hoarde", "pack", "plague" or "swarm".
