Frederick Luther Fane (27 April 1875 in County Kildare, Ireland – 27 November 1960 in Brentwood, Essex) was born in Ireland, but played cricket for the England cricket team in 14 Test matches. He also played for Essex, Oxford University and London County.

He also captained England on five occasions: three times when he took over from the injured Arthur Jones; two times when he took over from Shrimp Leveson Gower. He won two and lost three of these games.

He was the first Irish born player to score an international century for England. Ed Joyce repeated the feat at Sydney in a one day international on 2 February 2007.
