Annecy (France ) in1971 .Biography
Studied in France (National Conservatory in
Lyon , MusicalInstitute inParis ), then inSwitzerland (Conservatory ofGeneva ) and inRussia (Conservatory ofSaint-Petersburg , Ilya Moussin's classroom, who also taughtValeri Gergiev andYuri Temirkanov ). Trained in theAcademy ofSibelius inHelsinki and in the Conservatory ofAmsterdam .In 1996, after graduating from the conservatory, Emmanuel Leducq-Barome started his practice with Russian
orchestra s inNovosibirsk ,Irkutsk ,Vladivostok , as well as with different orchestras inUkraine ,Baltic states ,France . For three years he had been the principal conductor ofKaliningrad Philharmonic Orchestra . In January 2000 he became the musical director of Baltiс Chamber Orchestra (chamber department of theSt. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra ). In September 2001 he was appointed as principal conductor of Irkutsk Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then he has been working with the philharmonic orchestras of Saint-Petersburg andMoscow , also with theState Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Federation , the National Orchestra of the Capitole (Toulouse , France), theOrchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France , and the Philharmonic Orchestra ofNice . In addition, he is guest conductor of the MussorgskyOpera House in Saint-Petersburg.Emmanuel Leducq-Barome performs at summer
music festival s in France. He has worked withPierre Amoyal , Arto Noras, Gérard Poulet, Régis Pasquier, André Cazalet,Nikolai Petrov ,Denis Matsuev . In 2001 won the prize of the French Association of Art Communications (Assiciation Française d’Action Artistique) andLavoisier scholarship.Leducq-Barome debuted in the US in June 2007 at the International Festival-Institute at
Round Top 37th Anniversary Season.Form January 2008 he plans to work at Saint-Petersburg Philharmony led by
Yuri Temirkanov .Discography
