- Key Bible Club
The Key Bible Club is an outreach program for public
elementary school s. It teaches the ChristianBible to children who share a Christian background. Children have to join at the beginning of the school year but may resign at any time. Bible activities includestory telling, interactivegame s,quiz zes about Bible facts, andprayer .While the
Mike Harris government thought about eliminating Key Bible Club, it eventually was kept in theGrand Erie District School Board and many other school boards in the province ofOntario . All these factors makes the program similar to aSunday school for school-aged children. Although mostly smaller children attend the Friday afternoon sessions, there has been the occasional older student that is interested in learning about the Bible and its stories likeDavid and Goliath and the birth ofJesus Christ . At the end of the session, aprayer is lead by the teacher wishing her students a safe and happy weekend.External links
